Collect the Nifty Nine-patch Sampler Quilt Blocks
in the September FabShop Hop!
The September FabShop Hop brings FabShop Hoppers a special challenge. In addition to hopping and shopping,
collect the blocks to create our exclusive Nifty Nine-patch Sampler Quilt. Keep an eye out for the following spring-themed blocks:
Aunt Dinah
Chinese Coin
Five Spot
Grandma's Star
Joseph's Coat
London Roads
Ornate Star
Rolling Stone
Saw Tooth
Summer Winds
Swing in the Center
The Silent Star
Wyoming Valley
Collect your Nifty Nine-patch Sampler blocks to make your quilt.
Just like the Bonus Bunnies you’ve found in previous hops, these blocks are moving around to different shops continually. The quilt blocks circulate through the "Prize Verification Confirmation Page." Be persistent to collect all thirteen. You may need to “re-hop” to find all of the blocks. You can keep searching for blocks even if you have already found all the youfoundit bunnies for this hop, just visit the shops again. When you find a block, click on the block to download a PDF of a block & the assembly instruction.
On September 30, the 14th block and the quilt assembly will be available for download in your member area to all FabShop Hoppers who found at least ONE youfoundit bunny during the September Hop.
Nifty Nine-patch Sampler Show ‘n’ Tell Challenge in November!
We will also host a Nifty Nine-patch Sampler Show ‘n’ Tell Challenge in November. Here’s how:
Make a finished quilt top from the Nifty Nine-patch Sampler pattern. Creativity is encouraged.
Take a great digital photo of your quilt and submit it to info@fabshopnet.com by no later than November 1, 2010. The image must be 300 dpi, and 4 inches wide.
On that page, you will find a list of all the sites participating in the September FabShop Hop. At each site you visit, look around and find the white bunny with the aqua background that says 'youfoundit' with September dates — click on the bunny, and a prize registration page will come up — enter your email address and click on the "register for prizes" button.
This sends a message to our database that you registered for prizes at the site. You will receive a Thank You message and an email confirmation that you have registered at that site. You can then continue shopping at that site or go back to the home page for that site and continue on the Hop. You can also view a list of shops where you have already successfully located the 'youfoundit' bunny in the Member Area
No question, just a HUGE THANK YOU for the FabShopHops. They are such fun and I've discovered a whole new world of fabrics! Already some of the shop owners are like old friends and I've only met them via email.
Thanks again,
Mary
I'm so excited. This is my third shop hop this year. I'm hooked. It is so much fun looking at new web sites, seeing the fabrics and notions available around the country and beyond. I was shocked when I won a $10.00 gift certificate in the Holiday hop. I got something for myself and something to share with my friend that's teaching me to quilt. What fun! I look forward to more hops.
