Quilt a Village with the January FabShop Hop!
Kick off the New Year by hopping, shopping, and collecting the blocks to create your own All Around the Neighborhood quilt. Collect 12 charming blocks for this exclusive quilt pattern as you hunt for younfoundit bunnies in the January FabShop Hop! Finishing instructions for the All Around the Neighborhood quilt will be available in your member area at the end of the January Hop.
Remember that the blocks are moving around all the time, so you may need to check the shops more than once to find them all--it's a great reason to revisit your favorite shops!
On February 1, the quilt assembly directions will be available for download in your member area to all FabShop Hoppers who found at least ONE youfoundit bunny during the January Hop. The assembly directions and your January sampler blocks finds will be in your member area from February 1-28, 2011. After February 28, the All Around the Neighborhood quilt pattern or kit may be available for purchase at these shops.
All Around the Neighborhood
Show ‘n’ Tell Challenge in March!
We will also host a Sampler Show 'n’ Tell Challenge in March. Here’s how:
Make a finished quilt top from the All Around the Neighborhood quilt blocks. Creativity is encouraged.
Take a great digital photo of your quilt and submit it to showntell@fabshophop.com by no later than March 10. The image must be 300 dpi, and 4 inches wide.
Give your quilt a name.
Be sure to include your name and contact information.
On that page, you will find a list of all the sites participating in the January FabShop Hop. At each site you visit, look around and find the white bunny with the turquoise background that says 'youfoundit' with January dates — click on the bunny, and a prize registration page will come up — enter your email address and click on the "register for prizes" button.
This sends a message to our database that you registered for prizes at the site. You will receive a Thank You message and an email confirmation that you have registered at that site. You can then continue shopping at that site or go back to the home page for that site and continue on the Hop. You can also view a list of shops where you have already successfully located the 'youfoundit' bunny in the Member Area
No question, just a HUGE THANK YOU for the FabShopHops. They are such fun and I've discovered a whole new world of fabrics! Already some of the shop owners are like old friends and I've only met them via email.
Thanks again,
Mary
I'm so excited. This is my third shop hop this year. I'm hooked. It is so much fun looking at new web sites, seeing the fabrics and notions available around the country and beyond. I was shocked when I won a $10.00 gift certificate in the January hop. I got something for myself and something to share with my friend that's teaching me to quilt. What fun! I look forward to more hops.
